John Cole, owner of Eastex Trailers & Storage

I have lived in the Huntsville area since 1970. I was graduated from Sam Houston State University with my Bachelor's degree in 1987 and my Master's degree in 1989.

I spent my impressionable years around cows and cars. My grandparents were full-time ranchers in Madison County. There were a number of summers where I stayed with my grandparents on their farm, helping them with the cattle operation and in the process gaining a passion for livestock and the great outdoors.

 

My father and uncle established Cole Motor Company in 1970 as Huntsville's General Motors dealership. I spent my college years working at Cole Motor Company. Working at my dad's car dealership taught me a great deal about running a business and helped me form a love for working with customers and working with other employees.

I became an entrepreneur in 1994 when I established  Cole Insurance Agency. I sold my insurance agency in 2016  to start Eastex Trailers & Storage.

I believe in building long lasting relationships with my customers and take a personal interest in helping them.

 

I have been a long-time supporter of the

Huntsville-Walker County Chamber of Commerce,

Huntsville Lions Club and the Walker County Fair Association.
